Audio Output Test FAQ
1. Why can't I hear the test sound?
Please check if system volume is enabled and audio devices are properly connected. Ensure the correct playback device is selected in system sound settings. If using Bluetooth headphones, ensure stable connection. Some browsers may require user interaction before playing audio.
2. No difference in left/right channel test?
If using mono speakers or improper speaker placement, you may not clearly distinguish left/right channels. We recommend using stereo headphones for testing, or adjusting speaker placement. Check if audio cable connections are correct and ensure using stereo interface.
3. Can't hear certain frequencies or very quiet?
This may be due to the frequency response characteristics of audio devices. Different speakers and headphones have varying capabilities for different frequencies. Age can also affect high-frequency hearing. If the problem is severe, it may be device failure; consider checking or replacing audio devices.
4. Audio has noise or distortion?
Noise may come from poor audio cable contact, device aging, or distortion caused by excessive volume. We recommend checking audio connection cables, reducing volume for testing, and updating audio drivers. For Bluetooth devices, it may be caused by signal interference.
5. How to test 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound?
Current tool mainly supports stereo testing. For multi-channel surround sound systems, we recommend using professional audio testing software or playing multi-channel test audio files. Ensure both audio devices and system support multi-channel output.
6. What volume level should I use for testing?
We recommend starting with lower volume and gradually adjusting to comfortable listening levels. Avoid excessive volume that may damage hearing. Generally, a volume level where you can clearly hear test sounds without feeling harsh is appropriate. Take breaks during extended testing.
